A Strong Record of Management Consulting and Transactional Leadership
Brian Clougherty is Managing Partner and is based in Boston. Over the last 20 years, Brian has developed a strong record of launching, funding and operating complex technology businesses through his executive leadership and investment banking activities – participating in numerous transactions with Private Equity, Venture Capital, Family Offices and Fortune 500 Companies.
Brian has also founded and led a number of sensor, instrumentation and automation companies – largely in the Energy and Aerospace markets.
Brian received his MBA from the FW Olin Graduate School of Business at Babson College. He also earned an Engineering and Management Degree from Clarkson University in Potsdam, NY.
Brian enjoys playing and coaching ice hockey. He serves in a variety of roles for a Boston Public School technology Non-profit, where he focuses on providing young people technology opportunities including access to computers, robotics, programming and other STEM Programs.

Tom is Managing Partner and is based in London. He has more than 20 years’ experience in operations, strategy development, business leadership and investment banking centred around the Energy industry. Tom has advised Clients on more than 40 mandates in his investment career to date, successfully completing around $2bn worth of transactions.
Prior to his role at SWI Partners, Tom held a senior position at Simons & Company International, prior to which he held operational positions at a number of Energy focused engineering services companies.
Tom received an MBA from London Business School, MSc in Offshore Engineering from University College London and a BEng in Civil Engineering from University College Dublin.
Tom enjoys cycling and photography and is a Governor on his local school board.

Prior to his role at SWI Partners, Jason held multiple leadership positions, most recently as an Executive at GE and prior to this in leadership teams at ABB and Halliburton.
During his career Jason has successfully executed over $1.5bn of transactions and established a number of successful start-ups.
Jason received his MBA from Cranfield School of Management and also has an MEng in Civil Engineering, is a Chartered Engineer and Member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.
Jason enjoys walking, photograph and traveling, sits on the Board of Finance Against Trafficking and supports STOP THE TRAFFIK, a charity focused on eradicating Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking.
